Key’s Welcome Station:
Key’s Welcome Station – This 1926 Masonry Vernacular building located at 421 Broadway is the only industrial site listed among the 413 sites noted in the Kissimmee Historic Properties Survey. The preservation of this building is significant at the local level. Between 1926 and 1998, the Key’s building has been the meeting place for Kissimmee boys and men, a place for Monday morning quarterbacking, heat political debate, first cars and college rivalries. Whether you made your living from cattle, citrus or business, everyone met at the Key’s Service Station.
The Key’s Welcome Station is home to a satellite office of the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau and Breck’s Gourmet Cookies. The lobby is host to locals and visitors with information on local events as well as area attractions. The bay area of the station is home to Breck’s Gourmet Cookies.
