Current Projects of the CRA
City Centre:
With visions of revitalizing the core of Historic Downtown Kissimmee, the CRA has entered into a Public-Private partnership with Kissimmee Centre City LLC. The city block bordered by Broadway, Monument Avenue, Dakin Avenue, and Thurman Street will soon be enhanced with a project designed to harmonize with existing structures in the downtown. The project will consist of renovating the existing BB&T building, adding structures to include retail space along Broadway and Dakin Avenue on the first floor and office space on the second and third floors. Park Vue Luxury Condominiums will be built, all with a panoramic view of Lake Tohopekaliga, along Thurman Street and a 275 parking garage will be located in between the retail and residential structures. The developers catchphrase for the $28 million project is “Live, Work, Walk.”
