Current Projects of the CRA
Lake Toho Waterfront Redevelopment:
One of the City Commissions top ten goals is lakefront development. The CRA is currently working to improve fifty acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Tohopekaliga. The land is publicly-owned and is an underutilized asset which contains open space, a marina, various recreational activities and public buildings. The CRA is looking at a mixed-use development that will create an exciting destination for residents and visitors alike. The plan will include key elements such as increasing the connectivity between the lakefront and the downtown business district, providing great public space, and increasing day and evening pedestrian traffic.
